Spectrum Announces Date When Upstate Internet Will Be Fully Restored

More than 42,000 Spectrum Internet users in the Upstate were still without service as of Monday evening, Oct. 14, according to an update provided by the telecommunications company.

However, a solution for everyone in the Palmetto State is expected soon.

According to an update from Spectrum, “In South Carolina, we expect to fully restore all sites that have power and can be safely accessed by October 16.”

Spectrum confirmed that 395,000 customers were offline during the peak of Tropical Storm Helene in South Carolina. They deployed more than 900 technicians and engineers across the state and repaired over 300 miles of network to restore online services to their customer base.
