Olivia Rodrigo falls through the stage trapdoor during the “Guts” tour

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo shocked fans when she fell through a stage trap door during her performance.

Rodrigo, 21, was running across the stage when she fell into a hole in the floor during her “Guts World Tour” stop in Melbourne, Australia, on Monday.

“Oh my God, that was fun,” the “Driver’s License” singer told the crowd, adding, “I’m fine!”

“Sometimes there’s just a hole in the stage,” Rodrigo added. “That’s fine.”

Rodrigo is no stranger to mishaps on stage. The musician was in the middle of her song “Love is Embarrassing” during the London stop of her tour when the back of her black crop top popped open.

Rodrigo held the garment and continued singing while a dancer tried to refasten it.

As she sang, she commented mid-song, “This is fucking embarrassing!” with a little laughter, he played the song’s refrain: “God, love is fucking embarrassing.”

Rodrigo originally gained fame through his starring roles in the Disney Channel shows “Bizaardvark” and “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.”

In 2021, the actress released her debut album “SOUR”. With the release of her single “Drivers License,” Rodrigo became the youngest solo artist to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

She then released “Deja Vu,” which charted in the top 10, before scoring another number one with the release of “Good 4 u.”

“I’ve always seen myself as a singer/songwriter who was committed to acting and really liked it, rather than a child actor who’s like, ‘Oh, I’m going to try to be a pop star now,'” she explained in an interview 2021 interview with Clash.

Rodrigo released her second studio album “Guts” in 2023. The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200.

The album’s single, “Vampire,” debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and all 12 tracks charted in the top 40.

She began touring for the album in February. Rodrigo will continue to perform internationally until July 2025.
