Seahawks agree to trade with Jaguars for DT Roy Robertson-Harris, pending physical sale

The Seahawks made a deal to bolster the strength of their defensive line, agreeing to a trade with the Jaguars to acquire veteran defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris.

The trade for Robertson-Harris, who was in London with the Jaguars on Monday after their Week 6 game against Chicago, is still pending.

Robertson-Harris, 31, has played in 106 games with 62 starts since entering the league as an undrafted free agent from UTEP in 2016. After missing his rookie season on the non-football illness list, Robertson-Harris still appeared in 52 games with 13 starts for the Bears over the next four seasons. His play in Chicago led to Robertson-Harris receiving a free-agent contract from the Jaguars in 2021, and over the last three-plus seasons in Jacksonville, he started 49 of 54 games played, including starts in all 17 Playing the past two seasons.

Over eight seasons, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound Robertson-Harris has 198 tackles, 19.0 sacks, 26 tackles for loss, 66 quarterback hits and 13 passes defended.

Six games into this season, Robertson-Harris has played 50 percent of Jacksonville’s defensive snaps, recording 2.0 sacks, seven tackles and four quarterback hits.
