Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko are not married yet.

A couple from The Bachelorette recently confused some fans when they shared stunning images from a photo shoot. Season 20 stars Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko did a luxurious shoot for Munaluchi Bride at a resort in Grenada, and the results had a very wedding-like vibe.

After sharing some photos and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the process, Lawson assured his fans on social media that they hadn’t missed any news about a wedding. Lawson and Olubeko are yet to get married.

On August 1, Munaluchi Bride shared a photo of Lawson and Olubeko on her Instagram page. She wore a figure-hugging white strapless dress while he wore a white jacket and black pants.

Following the initial post on the Munaluchi Bride page, both Lawson and Olubeko shared more photos on their Instagram pages. Almost everything Lawson wore was formal and white, raising questions as to whether the two got married.

“I thought these were wedding photos,” one follower commented.

“I thought so too, they ran away and got married,” admitted another follower.

“It looks like they got married,” one fan replied when someone else asked when the wedding would be.

Someone else asked: “Aren’t these their wedding photos?”

In an Instagram story on August 2, Lawson wrote: “For the record, we did not get married or elope.” Rather, she noted, it was an anniversary cover shoot.

Olubeko also provided some clarifications to a fan in one of his Instagram posts. When asked if what he shared were engagement photos, he replied: “Nope, it was for @munaluchibride magazine shoot + engagement anniversary.”

Both Olubeko and Lawson told Munaluchi Bridal they really enjoyed the photo shoot. Lawson joked, “You guys are incredible. Don’t be surprised if we say, ‘All right, fall 2025. We need everyone back. Please clear your calendars.'”

The “Bachelorette” stars are currently aiming for a wedding in fall 2025. In fact, two weddings are planned.

Lawson revealed: “We are planning a Nigerian wedding and hope to have it in Nigeria.” The “Bachelorette” star added: “Then we will have a traditional American wedding and incorporate influences from the South.”

Her family lives in Georgia and she wants “a southern-style wedding, just because of my upbringing.”

Olubeko admitted: “We are trying to have two. It will be a big effort, but I think we can do it.”

The Nigerian wedding will be a party with lots of guests, the couple said. The wedding in the south will be smaller and more intimate, they added.

They haven’t given any specific dates yet, but Lawson noted, “We’re aiming for fall 2025. That just makes the most sense.” She added, “I just don’t want to stress and just have fun with the actual planning.”

Olubeko chimed in, saying, “We’re aiming for the fall. If we need more time to get it right, we have no problem. We’ll do what’s best for us, no matter what people say.”

They are both confident that fans of The Bachelorette can wait for them to get married in their schedules. “They really can. It’s going to be OK,” Lawson explained.

For her Southern wedding, Lawson will likely choose an “elegant and simple” wedding dress. For the reception, “we have rhinestones and glitter and everything that is glitter and glam will come out.”

The Bachelorette star hasn’t decided on a wedding dress yet. However, she has decided on a designer and style. The couple said they might even use some of the ensembles from the photoshoot because they liked everything so much.
