Dennis Quaid joins Trump at Coachella and urges the crowd to choose a side.

Donald Trump held a rally on Saturday in Coachella, California, known as the home of the famous music festival. It’s not entirely clear why Trump is campaigning in the Democratic stronghold ahead of another rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City, but actor Dennis Quaid appeared at the event and told supporters that this year’s election is between TikTok and the US Constitution takes place.

“I’m here to tell you that it’s time to choose a side,” Quaid began. “Will we be a nation that stands for the Constitution or for TikTok?”

In a speech not unlike Trump’s own often convoluted diatribes, Quaid lamented the loss of a nation that “had cheap money” and “exported oil to our allies and friends.”

Quaid made sure to remind the audience of his recent starring role in Reagan and added that Ronald Reagan was his favorite president of the 20th century – before making it clear that Trump was his favorite president of the 21st century.

The actor also spoke about his housekeeper Josie, who he said was “here illegally for over a decade, using her sister’s ID.” Despite the fact that Josie “worked for us” and “lived in fear” that she would be deported all the time, Quaid further explained, it was only after Trump’s election that the actor volunteered to help her obtain U.S. citizenship -to enable citizenship.

Quaid insisted that “the Harris-Biden fairytale just doesn’t work now.” Even four years ago, peace in the world was not a fairy tale. Peace in the Middle East – Trump was actually close to achieving the Abraham Accords, which would have recognized Israel from Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries and put us on the path to peace that we had tried so hard since biblical times of Ishmael and Isaac.”
