    Memphis football and South Florida play today.

    That was in doubt for most of the week as officials from both teams and the American Athletic Conference monitored Hurricane Milton and the aftermath of the storm, which hit Tampa and the rest of Florida’s West Coast on Wednesday night. After the game was moved from Friday to Saturday, it was ultimately moved to Orlando.

    Both the Tigers (4-1, 0-1 AAC) and Bulls (2-3, 0-1) desperately need a conference win. Both teams will need to win this game and likely the remaining conference games to have a chance of advancing to the AAC title game.

    After a lackluster second half, Kobee Minor forced a fumble near the goal line and Chandler Martin recovered it for a touchdown.

    Brett Karhu was called for harshly tackling the passer on a Hail Mary play, and South Florida got into the game on the final play of the half with a 52-yard field goal from Nico Gramatica.

    Anderson appeared to spit on USF defender Doug Blue-Eli in the second quarter.

    Greg Rubin forced a fumble and the Tigers cashed in on the short field. Henigan connected with Mario Anderson for another touchdown.

    After a methodical push led the Tigers into USF territory, Seth Henigan found Demeer Blankumsee for a 31-yard touchdown to open the scoring.

    Bulls quarterback Byrum Brown, who has been there so far, will not play against the Tigers. Brown is one of the top quarterbacks in the Group of Five, so this is a big blow for USF.
