Highest T20 Score: India scores the second highest T20I score against Bangladesh. Here is the top 10 list

The Indian cricket team posted the second highest T20I total today, scoring 297/6 in the third and final match against Bangladesh.

Playing for India, Sanju Samson scored his first T20I century and the country’s second fastest run in the format. Samson reached his hundred in just 40 balls, finishing with 111 off 47 deliveries, including eight sixes and 11 fours. He shared an impressive 173-run partnership off 70 balls with skipper Suryakumar Yadav, who contributed 75 off 35 balls, hitting five sixes and eight fours while complementing Samson perfectly.

In the final overs, Hardik Pandya (47 off 18 balls, 4 fours, 4 sixes) and Riyan Parag (34 off 13 balls, 1 four, 4 sixes) continued the attack and added 70 runs for the fourth wicket to India’s score close to the 300 mark.

Highest T20 Scores:

The highest T20I score remains with Nepal, who reached 314/3 against Mongolia in 2023. After India’s 297 today, Afghanistan are now in third place with 278/3 against Ireland in 2019.
