Tesla’s Optimus, a humanoid robot, stole the show at the ‘We, Robot’ event in California, United States of America on Thursday. The Optimus robot was seen dancing, serving drinks, chatting with guests and even posing for a selfie. But what has now gone viral on social media is the interaction between Optimus and one of the guests.

In a one-minute video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by user @cb_doge, the guest says: “It’s crazy. It even talks.” After greeting him, he says: “It’s crazy, I’m talking to a robot.”

During the casual conversation, the guest asks Optimus, “What’s the hardest thing about being a robot?” and it said, “I’m trying to learn to be human like you,” which got the guest excited.

“And this is something that I try more and more every day and hope that it will help us get better,” he continued.

“It will do basically anything you want,” Tesla CEO Elon Musk said as he introduced Optimus at the “We, Robot” event. “It can be a teacher. It can take care of your kids, walk your dog, mow your lawn, get groceries, just be your friend and serve drinks. Whatever you can imagine, it will work and it will be great,” he added.

In a demo video shown at the event, Optimus was seen collecting packages and doing household chores such as watering plants, cleaning the kitchen countertop, unloading groceries and playing with children.
