Comedian Jo Koy and the new Blippi show are coming to The Weidner in Green Bay

GREEN BAY – The Weidner has announced stops for two new touring shows.

Comedian Jo Koy will return to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for a show on March 2 at 7 p.m. as part of his new Just Being Koy Tour. He last played there in April 2022 on his Funny Is Funny World Tour.

Tickets are $55 and $66.50 and will be available at noon Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and at the Resch Center box office. There is a limit of eight tickets.

VIP packages, which include seats in the first five rows, a tote bag, a poster and exclusive tour items, are $236.75.

Koy’s latest Netflix special, “Jo Koy: Live from Brooklyn,” premiered in June and humorously covers energy vampires, mumble rap, emoji flirting and the surprise of being called a zaddy. His previous stand-up specials for the streaming service include “Live from the Los Angeles Forum” in 2022 and “Comin’ in Hot” in 2019.

Calling all preschool children: Blippi is coming to Weidner

The Weidner will play “Blippi: Join the Band Tour,” a stage show based on the popular preschool character, on May 14 at 6 p.m. as part of a new North American tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and at the Resch Center box office. Prices are $37.75, $49.25, $60.50 and $83.25. A ticket is required for all ages.

Blippi and Meekah are performed by professional stage artists specifically selected for the touring show as they explore what constitutes music, including sounds, rhythms and instruments. The production includes Blippi hits and live musicians as families sing and dance along.

Blippi’s educational videos receive more than one billion views per month on platforms such as Netflix, HBO Max, Cartoonito, Sky, Amazon and YouTube and are available in more than 20 languages.
