Preview: The Wizards want to win against the Raptors on Friday

A still winless Washington Wizards team hosts the Toronto Raptors for their third preseason game. Washington won the first duel between the two a few days ago.

When: Friday, October 11th at 7pm ET

Where: Capital One Arena, Washington, DC

How to watch: TSN4

Wizard: Malcolm Brogdon, Saddiq Bey (Aus)

Raptors: Ja’Kobe Walter, Bruce Brown, RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley (GTD)

Play back, hopefully the Wizards show up this time – The most accurate description for the Wizards’ first preseason game against these same Raptors a few days ago was “lifeless.” The Wizards just weren’t interested in winning or playing hard or trying really hard. That’s the least you’d expect from an NBA player…

Now, facing the Raptors at home, you would expect (!) that the Wizards would show a little more enthusiasm in front of their home fans or tourists.

All I can say is: don’t expect much! But maybe!

It would be nice if Alex Sarr showed some consistency after a relatively solid game last night in New York. Also, it would be nice to see Jordan Poole on the bench. Warming the bench.

Here are the highlights of the last match between the two a few days ago:
