Art the Clown has returned for a third film in Damien Leone’s gorefest Terrifier series. And while we may be gearing up for Halloween, the Terrifier threequel is… Christmassy?

In our review of Terrifier 3, we said, “Damien Leone’s beloved, slaughterhouse-sleazy franchise revisits the art (heh) of killing… with extremely practical gore effects and a dedication to leaving audiences in awe,” according to reports people leave the horror film in disgust in the first ten minutes and it was the first film since Saw 3 to be banned from 18+ ratings in France. In other words, it could be the slasher of the year.

Terrifier 3 streaming release date

Since it’s an independent horror film, we don’t know exactly when Terrifier 3 will be available to stream. We know it Terrifier 3 will be available to stream at some point ScreamBoxwhich belongs to the film’s distributor, Cineverse.

“Terrifier 2” ran in theaters for less than four weeks before becoming available on ScreamBox and was available to purchase in digital stores about a week later. On this basis we could see Terrifier 3 will be available online at the end of November.

If “Terrifier 3” does well at the box office, the theatrical run may be extended so that the film can be released later in the year.

Terrifier and Terrifier 2 are both available on Blu-ray, so we’ll definitely get a physical release of Terrifier 3 at some point. However, no details were revealed.
