It all comes down to Game 5.

The Los Angeles Dodgers host the San Diego Padres in a win-or-go-home contest with a spot in the NLCS on the line.

The top-seeded Dodgers opened the NLDS against their division rivals with a 7-5 win in Game 1. The Padres stormed back with wins in Games 2 and 3, but were unable to close out the series in San Diego. Instead, the Dodgers bullpen prevailed with a shutout in Game 4, forcing the series back to LA

Now one side will advance to the NLCS and move one step closer to a spot in the World Series while the other side’s season comes to an end.

Padres-Dodgers Game 5 Likely Pitchers

Yu Darvish is called up to the Padres. The 38-year-old right-hander was masterful in Game 2, giving up just three hits and one run in seven innings as the Padres cruised to a 10-2 win.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto will start for the Dodgers. Although he had a strong regular season, his first MLB postseason start was a memorable moment as he allowed five runs in three innings in the Dodgers’ Game 1 win.

Who will the Padres-Dodgers winner play in the NLCS?

The winner of Friday’s Padres-Dodgers game will face the sixth-seeded New York Mets in the NLCS. The Mets, needing a win against the Braves the day after the regular season ended to reach the playoffs, eliminated the Milwaukee Brewers in the Wild Card Series before defeating the division rival Philadelphia Phillies in the NLDS.

The Padres-Dodgers winner will receive home field advantage in the NLCS beginning in Game 1 on Sunday.

Where to watch Padres-Dodgers NLDS Game 5 in San Diego?

While the Padres are away, Petco Park at Gallagher Square is hosting watch parties for the NLDS games against the Dodgers. Admission is $5 (children under 36 inches are free), with proceeds going to the Padres Foundation. Up to 6 tickets can be purchased per household and watch party.

Park-wide activities will take place throughout the stadium and select food and beverages will be available for purchase.
