Are you tired of commentators attacking Patrick Mahomes? Well, it’s not just the three-time Super Bowl winner who is the media’s darling. Apparently Brock Purdy is also a media favorite. How can he not be? Mr. Irrelevant ended up taking his team to the Super Bowl. But how much flattery is too much? The game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks featured some outrageous moments, and fans weren’t afraid to call out Kirk Herbstreit.

One fan got tired of Herbstreit calling the game and wrote on X: “@NFL I want the players to have microphones. I want the announcers to be muted if I want, especially @KirkHerbstreit. I pay for Prime, so let me hear the cursing, the screaming, and the trash talking.” Another player accused him of overly praising Purdy for his pass placement.

“Kirk Herbstreit talked about his Purdy placing the ball perfectly where the safety couldn’t reach it.” He believes a better DB would have been able to shut down the 49ers QB. “To be honest, I don’t see it that way. I think it was just terrible play by security, Julian Love, lol. Better security could have enabled play on the ball.”

Another fan expressed his dissatisfaction with the QB pass and the supposedly poor call of the game. “@KirkHerbstreit is once again an above average fanboy QB. That was a terrible throw from Purdy that should have been blocked. Thank God for Deebo. What’s wrong with you and these average Qb’s?”
