The Oklahoma City Thunder play the NBL’s New Zealand Breakers in a preseason contest on Thursday. It’s the annual preseason outing at the BOK Center in Tulsa.

The Thunder (1-1) are on their second night in a row. They looked great in the first half, but saw their lead evaporate in a 112-113 overtime loss to the Houston Rockets. This contest against the Breakers is OKC’s annual preseason trip to Tulsa.

This will be the Breakers’ (0-1) second preseason contest. On Monday they suffered a tough loss against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said several players will sit out this contest. It’s not known yet, but it will likely be all regulars and top bench players. Kenrich Williams (knee operation) is out. Jaylin Williams (hamstring strain) is out. Nikola Topic (torn cruciate ligament) is out.

Meanwhile, the Breakers’ injury status is unknown. They will likely suit every available player. These preseason games are productive outings to see how they stack up against NBA talent.

The tipoff from Tulsa is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT.
