The Great American Beer Festival returns to the Mile High City for its 42nd year. There are 600 breweries, ciders, distilleries and other beverage options at the Colorado Convention Center this weekend. The Brewers Association expects nearly 40,000 people to sample more than 2,500 drinks.

There will also be a beer competition where breweries submit their beers to be judged by the festival’s professional jury. During the tastings, festival goers can also sip the competition beer.

The Great American Beer Festival lasts three days, starting on Thursday and ending on Saturday afternoon.

Tickets for Thursday’s session are $85. Friday and Saturday sessions are $95 each and attendance for all days is $220.

Paired tickets and the Great American Beer Festival are $129. For those who want to get food and a beer pairing along with the Great American Beer Festival experience, it’s $199 on either Thursday or Friday.

General sessions are open on Thursday and Friday from 5:30pm – 9:30pm and on Saturday from 12:30pm – 4:30pm
