Streamer Adin Ross is under fire for launching a $70,000 Hurricane Milton “survival challenge” that led to the arrest of another Kick streamer.

Shaun Sharkey, 18, also known as Shoovy, was arrested Wednesday after breaking into a residence to chase Hurricane Milton and make his significant haul.

Ross offered the creators $70,000 on the live streaming platform Kick to watch the hurricane on Tuesday.

Sharkey said it was his friend’s apartment that he broke into, but in the livestream on his Kick channel he broke into the apartment with a screwdriver.

He was later seen holding a knife with the door open.

Another streamer, Kick streamer Mike Smalls Jr., streamed live on Wednesday showing him outside in the hurricane. He claimed he only had an air mattress, ramen and an umbrella.

During the video, he freaked out after the chat told him that Ross had made a comment on his livestream: “Bro, no one’s getting paid, go. ‘Evacuate, save yourself bro.’

Ross gave Lieutenant Dan money after he decided to ride out Hurricane Milton from his sailboat in Tampa Bay. He gifted the man a $100,000 boat and a kick deal to start streaming. However, Dan says that offer was later withdrawn due to his criminal past.
