Seattle will experience cooler, cloudier weather on Tuesday

After temperatures soared into the 70s in Seattle on Monday, temperatures will cool to the 60s in most backyards today.

Showers swept through parts of Puget Sound this morning. Only scattered showers are forecast for the rest of the day. The wet weather will particularly benefit the mountains, coast and North Sound. However, we cannot rule out the possibility of it happening elsewhere.

While a scattered shower or two could linger early Wednesday, the greater Seattle area will see calmer, drier weather tomorrow.

The morning clouds will give way to the afternoon sun tomorrow. Skies will remain partly sunny on Thursday and Friday.

Drier weather with partly sunny skies is forecast for Wednesday and Thursday in Seattle.

This weekend is expected to be dry with high temperatures approaching 70 degrees. There will be predominantly sunny skies until Monday.
