Several Poth High School students were recognized for receiving National College Board Recognition at the Sept. 16 Poth School Board meeting.

To be considered for participation in the National Recognition Programs, 10th and 11th grade students must:

•Take the Fall 2023 PSAT/NMSQT or the Spring PSAT 10 and rank in the top 10 percent of honors program test takers in your state

•Achieve a grade of C plus on two or more different AP exams in 9th and/or 10th grade

•Achieve a cumulative grade point average of B-plus or higher (at least 3.3 or 87-89 percent) at the time of submission.

•Identify as first-generation Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Indigenous or Native American and/or attend school in a rural area or small town.
