The Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah has changed its tune: After weeks of declaring an apocalyptic end for Israel, the cadre of bloodthirsty cowards is begging the Jewish state to let up.

“We support the political efforts of (Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih) Berri under the slogan of achieving a ceasefire,” complained Hezbollah deputy leader Naim Qassem – for the first time not They linked a ceasefire to the end of the Gaza war.

It turns out that boldly attacking your enemies with uncanny precision and skill rather than suing them for peace is effective as a military strategy.

Israel’s astonishing actions last month explain why Qassem is shaking in his boots.

When Qassem asks for peace, it is at least partly because he knows he is next.

Like all the other Hezbollah bosses.

Iran has certainly agreed to Qassem’s plea for a ceasefire: Tehran is puppet and paymaster of Hezbollah, its most powerful proxy force, but the terror lords now fear Israel’s justified retaliation for Iran’s massive (but failed) ballistic missile attack on the Jewish state.

So there is a double lesson here.

The first is the strategy called for by the Biden administration that would somehow allow Israel to win peace Task to eliminate Hamas in Gaza and not The reaction to Hezbollah’s years of rocket fire is completely absurd.

The second is Iran may be intimidated and restricted. Not by giving in to the regime’s demands, but by steadfastly resisting them.
