Husband of missing Olmos Park woman arrested on family violence charges in Kendall County

OLMOS PARK, Texas — The husband of an Olmos Park woman at the center of a missing person case has been arrested on family violence charges, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Brad Simpson, 53, was charged early Wednesday morning with assault, family violence and unlawful restraint. The amount of his bail is currently pending.

Olmos Park police and the Texas Department of Public Safety are searching for Simpson’s wife, Suzanne Clark Simpson, who has been missing since Sunday.

Simpson was last seen in the 500 block of East Olmos Drive near Shook Avenue around 11 p.m. Sunday.

Sergeant Deon Cockrell said the search began in a wooded area near Simpson’s home. Roads are closed while the investigation continues, Cockrell said.

“As we speak… it continues. The search will continue for as long as it takes,” Cockrell said.

Police said Simpson was seen at The Argyle in Alamo Heights on Sunday between 6 and 9 p.m.

Officials are unsure if Simpson was driving a vehicle before she disappeared.

Simpson was last seen wearing a long black dress with black heels.
