According to a new rumor Tom Holland’s Spider-Man could have one Symbiote suit and face off against other symbiotes in the MCU’s upcoming fourth Spider-Man film. Hardy’s Venom appeared briefly in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and effectively introduced the concept into the franchise.

Tom Holland is rumored to be donning a symbiote suit in Spider-Man 4

According to Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man could wear a symbiote suit in the fourth installment of the MCU Spider-Man films. During a question-and-answer session with members of The Cosmic Circus Discord, Perez claimed that Holland’s version of the character could get the symbiote suit “in the next few years” and “keep it for the next few Spidey movies.”

The symbiotes from Sony’s films were connected to the MCU through Venom: Let There Be Carnage. In the film’s mid-credits scene, Eddie Brock and Venom are seemingly transported to another universe, where they watch as JK Simmons’ J. Jonah Jameson reveals the secret identity of Holland’s Spider-Man. Eddie Brock and Venom also appear in the mid-credits scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home. They return to their home universe, unaware that they are behind a small piece of Venom, potentially leading to a future storyline involving symbiotes in the MCU.

Holland’s Spider-Man 4 faces off against multiple symbiotes and Knull

Previously, Perez claimed that the fourth Spider-Man film could feature Hardy’s Venom and Knull, with the latter possibly serving as a villain. He also claimed that other symbiotes could appear in the film besides Venom and Knull.

Knull was revealed in one of the trailers for Venom: The Last Dance, the third installment in the Venom film series. The character is a major antagonist in the comics, so it’s possible that his appearance in Spider-Man 4 could lead to a collaboration between Holland and Hardy’s characters.
