Spirit Halloween transforms 10 stores into Spirit Christmas for the holiday season

Every year as the spooky season turns into the holiday season, we have to say goodbye to our favorite pop-up store, Spirit Halloween. Or at least we did. This year too, the retail chain is celebrating the most wonderful time of the year. Instead of closing entirely, Spirit Halloween will instead open 10 locations as Spirit Christmas.

Ghost Halloween

The spirit of Halloween won’t completely disappear when the trick-or-treaters come home with their candy. The company has announced (in the news we first heard below People) It is a redesign for the arrival of winter. As Spirit Christmas, the company will operate ten stores in the Northeast.

Some of the locations will replace Spirit Halloweens, while others will open in entirely new buildings. They will be based in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. The Mays Landing, New Jersey store will be the first to open on October 18th. The other nine will follow in early November. They will then stay open until Christmas.

The company is also really getting into the season. People says customers will find a collection of “holiday decorations, clothing, inflatables, gifts and holiday gifts” for sale, but that’s just part of the fun. Visitors can also pre-book free visits with Santa to receive a free digital postcard. And Spirit Christmas will also have a “life-sized gingerbread village” to send letters to Old St. Nick.

Ghost Halloween

As the season changes, it makes sense to replace ghouls and ghosts with reindeer and elves. So much so that we’re surprised Spirit Halloween hasn’t already thought of it. The company already has the infrastructure in place when the holiday season arrives. Who doesn’t use them? And if these 10 stores do well (which we bet), Spirit Christmas will almost certainly expand to more and more locations in the coming years.

However, ghost Easter is probably still a long way off.
