For nearly two years, Ye — the artist formerly known as Kanye West — has been strutting around with Bianca Censori, his partner in romance and deeply confusing clothing. During their relationship, Censori, who was once an architect at Yeezy, developed a real flair for shocking people with her imaginative and often daring outfits, be it going shoeless, wearing a pillow as a top, or stockings to the limit expanded. But even these two can’t do much with cotton-spandex, and now rumors are circulating that Ye and Censori are planning to divorce.

According to TMZ, Censori and Ye both told friends that they broke up a few weeks ago. The tabloid claims that Censori is traveling to Australia to reconnect with her family, while Ye has apparently discussed moving to Tokyo. They haven’t been seen together in public since mid-September, when they also went shopping in Tokyo. Ye appears to have stuck around – last week he was seen dining alone at a Jamaican restaurant in Shibuya City in an all-white tracksuit.

Censori and Ye were first spotted together at the Waldorf in Beverly Hills in early 2023. The tabloids spent much of the year referring to the woman as his “wife” – scare quotes included – because Ye continued to call her that even though there was no evidence that the couple had ever applied for a marriage license. But last October the Daily Mail claimed to have reviewed a “confidential marriage certificate” proving that the couple had indeed legally married in December 2022.

Assuming this is indeed the case, TMZ believes they are now “possibly headed for a divorce.” I guess the tabloids will soon be referring to Censori as Ye’s “ex-wife”?
