Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast faces backlash over Harris interviews with “propaganda.”

“Call Her Daddy” podcast host Alex Cooper is facing criticism from angry fans over her interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Cooper faced backlash on social media. Regular listeners of the podcast, known for its candid discussions of sexuality and advice for women, accused her of promoting propaganda for the Democratic Party candidate.

Harris also draws criticism for avoiding mainstream media interviews – and tough questions – in favor of comfortable conversations with gentle questions from “safe” interviewers.

Some fans left comments on the show’s Instagram account congratulating Cooper on the coup of getting the Democratic Party’s White House hopefuls on the podcast, which is second only to Joe Rogan’s show in the United States in the Popularity stands.

But others said they would never listen again … and asked when Cooper would interview Donald Trump.

The interview avoided the podcast’s usual salacious content, sticking largely to Harris campaign talking points and staying away from potential lightning rod topics like illegal immigration and the Biden administration’s response to Hurricane Helene.

“One of my favorite podcasts and now I will never listen to it again. Unbelievable,” wrote one (former) fan.

“DONE, that was my favorite podcast. I am 100% disgusted,” another posted.

“It probably just lost a lot of followers,” said another user.

“I’m so disappointed, this feels like propaganda and trying to make them look like Generation Z.”

Many complained that the hurricane disaster was not being addressed.

“Calling her dad was more important than the millions who could use help rebuilding their homes?!” read one comment.

“Did you discuss the plan to recover all the bodies that were swept into the trees and river banks in North Carolina during the recording of this podcast?” was the next post.

“I loved CHD from the start but was really disappointed that you chose this one. Why do you anger so many of your fans? Especially during a natural disaster where she should have been on site helping people,” another noted.

One even went so far as to write: “Call her daddy who’s about to be fucking canceled.”

However, the comments were not all negative. Many praised Cooper for her “iconic” interview.

“Anyone who is angry about this has not understood the whole point. It’s about women and as an interviewer you interview all areas of life and people. She nailed it and doesn’t tell anyone how to vote. Great job @alexandracooper,” one fan said.

“Oh my god that was just everything,” gushed another. “You kept your composure and were great, of course, but oh my God, the Vice President of the States.”

However, not everyone cared about politics. “I need this hoodie,” one user wrote, referring to Cooper’s lavender “Unwell Network” sweater.
