We didn’t get to see much of the Boston Celtics’ two stars since it was their preseason opener, but Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were a well-oiled machine against the Denver Nuggets in Abu Dhabi. The Celtics entered one of their toughest Western Conference games (at least on the East Coast of the United States) last Friday morning at the Etihad Arena in the capital of the United Arab Emirates and emerged victorious thanks to some outstanding play from their bench Tatum and Brown gave set the tone early.

Can we find out much about their upcoming season from this smallest meaningless sample size? The host of the podcast of the same name “Hoops Tonight with Jason Timpf” took some time in a recent episode of his show to find out whether such a thing exists.
