When do the New York Yankees play?

The road to 28 has officially begun and it begins…and possibly ends at Yankee Stadium.

The New York Yankees are the top seed in the American League portion of Major League Baseball’s postseason and face a Central Division gauntlet as the Yankees face the Kansas City Royals to rekindle a long-standing AL rivalry while the Cleveland Guardians battle it out with the Detroit Tigers.

On the other side of the group, the New York Mets, the Yankees’ Queens counterparts, face the Philadelphia Phillies, while the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres round out the quartet.
