    Georgia football dominated the national stage a week ago when about 12 million viewers tuned into ABC and watched a dramatic 41-34 loss to Alabama.

    The Bulldogs have the advantage by more than three touchdowns against another in-state SEC opponent, rival Auburn.

    For his second time as head coach, Hugh Freeze will be on the sidelines at Sanford Stadium. His first Ole Miss team lost 37-10 to Georgia in 2012.

    “We play against about 50 percent of our guys are young guys,” Freeze said. “They haven’t experienced what we want to experience.”

    After five straight home games, Auburn begins a three-game road stretch, followed by No. 9 Missouri and Kentucky.

    The Tigers have lost three of their last four games and benched quarterback Payton Thorne for one game before reinstating him as the starter last week.

    “He’s a really good quarterback and a good athlete. When you have that combination along with the skill of the players, it becomes difficult to defend,” coach Kirby Smart said.

    Auburn has committed 11 turnovers in its three losses.

    “The results will come,” Freeze said. “We’re not that far away.”
