The fast food “price war” is all the rage right now when it comes to getting your favorite meals for less. But just as most of these deals are only available for a limited time, there is another bargain that you can only take advantage of on one day: National Cheeseburger Day.

To celebrate the holiday – or in another attempt to curb customer traffic – fast food and restaurant chains from McDonald’s to Buffalo Wild Wings are offering customers discounts only on Wednesday, September 18.

Here are some of the best deals we found:

Buffalo Wild Wings

Maybe you’ve been looking for a reason to skip the chicken wings at Buffalo Wild Wings and try another entrée instead. So why not get a cheeseburger—or two? On September 18, Blazin’ Rewards members who order a burger when dining in, ordering takeout, or delivery will get a second one free.

Burger King

Of course, if your name includes the word “burger,” you have to participate in this national holiday. Burger King’s offer includes a free cheeseburger for every Royal Perks member who makes a purchase of $1 or more.

Carl’s Jr.

Another offer aimed at members comes from Carl’s Jr. The chain treats its loyal members to half-price double cheeseburgers with every order.

Milk Queen

It may not be French fries to dip in the Blizzard, but Dairy Queen is still offering a salty side at a discounted price in celebration of National Cheeseburger Day. The offer isn’t just limited to Wednesday, though. From then until Sunday, customers who order online or through the app can enjoy a free double Original Cheeseburger Signature Stackburger with a purchase of at least $1.

Jack in the Box

Jack in the Box is also offering a week of deals for the holidays. Through September 21, Jack Pack members can receive certain discounts on any $1 purchase. Wednesday is a free Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger, Thursday is a free Smashed Jack with a $20 delivery, Friday is a double point deal on a burger order, and Saturday is a buy one Jr. Jumbo Jack Burger, get one free deal.

Instacart

Even non-food manufacturers are celebrating with discounts. On Instacart, customers who choose from the National Cheeseburger Day product collection will receive $10 off their $20 purchase. This collection includes every burger must-have from mayonnaise and cheese to lettuce and bun.

McDonald’s

McDonald’s $5 menu seemed to start the “price war” trend, and now McDonald’s is doubling down on discounts with a double cheeseburger for $0.50 on Wednesday. The offer is different from choosing a McChicken or McDouble on the discount menu because a double cheeseburger includes an extra slice of cheese.

The chain, which recently introduced its “Fun.99” menu, is offering 8-ounce double cheeseburgers for just $1.99 on National Cheeseburger Day, the same price the menu item is offered at on its “Value Wars” entry.

Wendy’s

Don’t put your coins in the piggy bank just yet. In honor of National Cheeseburger Day, Wendy’s is selling Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers for just 1 cent for every customer who makes an additional purchase. This offer is valid through September 22nd.

White Castle

You don’t necessarily have to say “cheese” when you order a cheeseburger online, but White Castle makes sure you do. In the app, customers can buy a cheese slider and get one free by entering the code “SAYCHEESE.”
