Derek Hough and his wife, 29-year-old dancer Hayley Erbert, looked amazing as they headed out on a date to an Emmy party on Sunday.

The 39-year-old “Dancing With the Stars” judge looked casual in a classic black tuxedo as the couple attended The Walt Disney Company’s Emmy Awards celebration at the Music Center in Los Angeles.

His beautiful wife presented her dancer’s body in a silver dress decorated with feathers.

The bodice of Haley’s strapless dress was decorated with a silver and white jeweled pattern, and the skirt was covered in fluff from the waist to the knees, reaching to the hem that repeated the pattern of the bodice.

The outing is one of the couple’s few red carpet appearances since Hayley underwent an emergency craniectomy in December 2023.

On December 7 last year, Hayley was hospitalized after suffering a cranial hematoma during a performance on her Symphony of Dance tour in Washington DC.

According to the Mayo Clinic, a cranial hematoma occurs when blood accumulates “in the brain or between the brain and the skull.”

“At the end of our tour performance yesterday in Washington, DC, my wife Hayley became disoriented and was taken to the hospital,” he wrote at the time.

“She was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma due to a ruptured blood vessel and required emergency craniectomy. Her condition is stable,” he added.

The couple finished their Symphony of Dance tour in May and Hayley wrote an emotional post about the experience.

“The Symphony of Dance tour has only been over for a few days and I still haven’t found the right words to express my feelings,” she wrote.

“When it started in September, I was on cloud nine; I was able to travel and perform with my new husband and do the most ambitious show of my life.”

She continued to write about her health fears: “Then December 6th came and everything came to a screeching halt.”

Hayley returned to touring just months after her surgery, despite feeling deeply insecure about it, prompting her to declare, “I DID IT!”

“This tour has brought back to life many parts of me that have been dark for a long time, so I can’t thank everyone enough who has supported us on this wild journey.

“I am so grateful to still be here, with all of you, doing what I love,” she concluded.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
