Air Force is looking to rebound from a disappointing home loss to San Jose State (they were favored). This was a league game and the Falcons were nowhere to be seen. Worst of all, their normally strong running game was missing and it’s not like this program can find its offense elsewhere or that the Spartans are a strong defensive unit. Maybe this will be a bad year for the Falcons.

Baylor hasn’t been particularly good this season. They may have been spared a major embarrassment last week because Utah lost their starting quarterback midway through the game and their offense just hasn’t been as good after that. The head coach is on the hot seat and the quarterback they brought in from Toledo was just OK. They need to win this game if they want to make the bowl this season.

Baylor has been a tough team to gauge so far. Still, it’s hard to imagine them dominating a serious opponent and breaking a 16-point mark after scoring just 12 on the road last week. Returning to Waco helps, but Air Force can be a difficult team to prepare for, and their style of play limits possession, making it difficult to build big leads unless you get going.
