    Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson appears to have avoided serious injury after leaving Sunday’s season-opening game against the Browns early.

    An MRI scan revealed that Ferguson suffered a bone bruise and a sprained medial ligament in his left knee, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Monday morning. His participation will be assessed on a week-to-week basis.
