Michigan fans want to see Alex Orji throw more

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of NCAA fans. All year long, we ask questions of the most connected Michigan Wolverines Fans and supporters across the country. Register here to participate in the weekly surveys sent by email.

Earlier this week, we asked Michigan fans if they supported Michigan’s two-quarterback system with Davis Warren and Alex Orji.

The results are interesting and fans seemed to be largely divided.

Thirty-eight percent of fans surveyed believe the Wolverines should continue to use both Warren and Orji, with 27 percent in favor. What’s interesting is the caveat that 35 percent agree if Michigan continues to use two quarterbacks – and lets Orji throw more.

Michigan plays Texas on Saturday and it will be important to have momentum and not waste downs. Maybe Orji plays less and they just let Warren in more this week, or maybe Orji will be one of Michigan’s strongest weapons against the Longhorns. Tune in Saturday at noon to find out.

How did you vote this week? Let us know in the comments.

In the season opener, Warren was 15 of 25 passing for 118 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Orji was 1 of 2 passing for three yards with a passing touchdown and also ran for 32 yards on five carries. Orji had only one pass attempt after his touchdown pass.
