Horrific moment: Woman is hit by high-speed train in Georgia while posing for a photo – and somehow survives

This is the moment a woman was hit by a high-speed train while posing for photos – and somehow survived the collision.

Nini Lomidze said she was miraculously unharmed in the horrific incident on a railway embankment near Tbilisi, Georgia.

The footage shows Lomidze, wearing a figure-hugging red dress, approaching the racetrack and preparing to pose for a photo.

The train driver can be heard sounding his horn, apparently to warn the woman that she had come too close, as she stood next to the tracks fixing her hair and adjusting her outfit.

She struck a pose when the train was only a few meters away, and within moments her upper body was struck by the vehicle and thrown brutally to the ground.

Two friends were heard screaming in shock as the woman was thrown through the air.

Commenting on her narrow escape, Lomidze said: “I am fine and thank you for your messages, they were very touching.”

“It was just an accident.”

“I didn’t know that the route was being used and that trains were running again.

“I really didn’t know a high-speed train was coming.”

“When I heard a noise and looked, it was nowhere to be seen.

“Suddenly, in a split second, I looked up and realized it was going to hit me.

“It’s not the driver’s fault, nor anyone else’s.”

Previously, in June, a 29-year-old mother was killed by an old steam train in a Mexican city because she stood too close to the tracks to take a selfie.

Dulce Alondra, accompanied by her young son, was hit by a locomotive called “The Empress”.

In a chilling video, she can be seen telling the child to duck and stay away from the train.

But the single mother of one child, who was standing on a small hill and posing for a selfie, came one step too close to the animal and was beheaded.

Just before the woman is hit, a voice can be heard warning people to stay far away from the train.
