I don’t know about you, but I think Alien: Romulus kicks Xenomorphs in the ass. This means that director Fede Álvarez can now say that he has created one of the strongest installments in two classic horror film franchises. He had his breakthrough in 2013 with an unabashedly brutal reboot of the evil Dead films, and has now further proven his skills with a new science fiction film that reminds us why we are in the Foreigner primarily films.

I would like to see him introduce a new horror film next – emphasis on newas he pursued evil Dead with 2016 Don’t breathe — part of me is also curious as to what other popular horror films might be worth rewatching with him at the helm. It’s at least an idea worth putting forward, so I did, and what follows are the horror film franchises that I think Fede Álvarez would breathe new life into.
