2024 NFL Trade Grades: Davante Adams, Amari Cooper Deals Kickstart Deadline Moves | News, results, highlights, statistics and rumors

Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Tennessee Titans

At 1-4, the Titans will likely look to acquire draft capital in exchange for their top talent as they wait to draft a franchise quarterback.

Last Sunday, wide receiver Calvin Ridley expressed frustration with the Titans’ offense, but the club signed him to a four-year, $92 million contract last offseason.

With an expiring contract, Hopkins could be a possible trade target for teams in need of receivers and wanting an offensive spark in the second half of the season. He leads Tennessee in receiving yards (175).

Marshon Lattimore, CB, New Orleans Saints

Saints fans are probably tired of hearing about the Lattimore trade rumors, but the team has lost four straight games and quarterback Derek Carr could miss a few more games.

The Saints should be sellers before the deadline as their playoff hopes are quickly fading after a 2-0 start.

By the way, New Orleans has Lattimore’s potential replacement in rookie second-rounder Kool-Aid McKinstry.

Between 2022 and 2023, Lattimore missed 17 games and battled injuries. The Saints should consider trading him while he is healthy as they fall behind in the standings.

Haason Reddick, Edge, New York Jets

According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Jets have given Reddick permission to seek a trade.

Since the offseason, Reddick has been waiting to get a new contract. The Jets didn’t budge, and Reddick hired super agent Drew Rosenhaus after his former agency reportedly parted ways with him.

Although general manager Joe Douglas has said the team will not trade Reddick, he may back down from that statement. The Jets can use draft capital to make an offer for a cheaper starting-caliber edge rusher if one becomes available before the trade deadline.

Rachaad White, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers could enter the season with a three-man backfield that includes White, rookie fourth-rounder Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker.

Tampa Bay can also dangle White on the trading block and move forward in tandem.

In Week 6, Irving and Tucker combined for 297 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns in a 51-27 victory over the Saints.

After Week 3, head coach Todd Bowles told reporters that Irving deserved more snaps. This week, Bowles said, “It’s definitely worthy of him making this a three-headed monster” when discussing Tucker’s Week 6 performance.

White, who is in the third year of his rookie contract, could draw interest from suitors looking for a running back with extensive starting experience.

Bryce Young, QB, Carolina Panthers

The Panthers benched Young before Week 3, and veteran quarterback Andy Dalton provided an offensive spark.

Since Carolina moved Dalton into the starting lineup, Young played late in a blowout Week 5 loss to the Chicago Bears.

But if the Panthers have their eyes on a top pick in the 2025 draft and receive a good offer for him, general manager Dan Morgan could complete a deal later in the season to set the stage for the arrival of a new young quarterback.
