2 men wanted for murder of man found dead near North Little Rock

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office on Friday determined the identities of two men wanted on felony charges in connection with the killing of a person found partially buried near North Little Rock on Aug. 2. A day earlier, officials arrested another man connected to the killing.

Officers were searching for Chad Williams, 48, and Dustin Stuart, 38, in connection with the killing, according to a Friday post from the agency on X, formerly Twitter. The victim, who was found dead near Vaughn Road, had not been publicly identified Friday.

Officers arrested Michael Nettles, 33, on Thursday after he admitted to being involved in the murder, authorities said. He was being held without bail in the Pulaski County Jail on Friday, according to an online inmate roster.

Authorities said both wanted men may be armed and that extreme caution should be exercised when encountering them.

Authorities say Williams is homeless and does not own a vehicle, but is known to reside in north Little Rock, possibly near the city limits or in rural areas of the city.

Stuart may be trying to flee the state for Florida, authorities said, and is known to drive a white Dodge Magnum with Arkansas license plate AXT10J. He may also be driving a pickup truck with no taillights and possibly no license plates, authorities said.
