This is a monster game for Colorado.

Are they the team that won four games? Are they the team that didn’t look competitive against the Nebraska Classic? Deion Sanders spent half of his press conference this week talking about baseball, explaining that you shouldn’t compare him and Travis Hunter as to who is the better athlete?

I would still give that to love you.

Travis Dion’s message.

Coach Prime’s message to the team.

Don’t let success surprise you.

How can you be surprised that you are winning in life?

How can you be surprised by the expectations you have of yourself?

You might only be surprised if you weren’t expecting it.

It’s late at night in Boulder and we’ve seen a lot in Boulder over the last two years in the Coach Prime era. There were wild, wild games in that time frame.

That’s why I’m looking forward to it.

It’s Colorado’s extreme style and complete lack of style that’s almost as if Kansas State’s vanity is a lack of vanity like we are substance.

We’re not going away.

No gimmicks.

No, nothing.

Chris Kliman, you know, salt of the earth, meat and potatoes from the state of North Dakota.

I think it comes down to whether Avery Johnson keeps the ball for Kansas State and they have success against Colorado.

Colorado’s run defense is much better so far this season than it was last season.

But I expect Kansas State to be fully focused on running the ball.

And if Colorado can slow him down enough and make it a little catch for us.

If you can play where they need to score and K-State can keep up, the Buffs could do it.

But if it’s K-State dictating the tempo, trying everything, running, running, running, running, running all night long, and Colorado can’t stop them, then the Wildcats will win, and possibly win by a lot.
