Pueblos de Maiz

The third annual Pueblos del Maiz is a celebration of corn as a traditional ingredient found in many foods. UNESCO chefs will prepare corn dishes at Carriqui on October 10, followed by live cooking demonstrations at Pearl on October 11.

Muertos Mercado

The event at Maestro Event Hall features Pan de Muerto, vendors, altars, live entertainment and artwork from local artists. Participants are encouraged to wear Catrina costumes.

Classen Steubingfest 2024

Celebrate San Antonio’s newest urban park – Classen-Steubing Ranch Park. Revelers can enjoy bratwurst and German-inspired drinks from various food vendors, children’s activities, and live music performances from Eurofest, The Hot Peppers, and the Fire on the Mountain Cloggers.

Film montages at Pearl

Starting October 14th, Pearl will be showing a free film every Monday on the green space next to the Food Hall. Guests are asked to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs.

The town of Cibolo brings back its biggest festival of the year. Cibolofest features live bands, a carnival, a petting zoo, pony rides and 150 food and craft vendors.

Monarch Butterfly Festival

The Live Oak Village Garden Club is hosting its third annual Monarch Butterfly Festival with vendors, face painting, crafts, a plant raffle and a monarch butterfly release.

Bat Festival at Natural Bridge Caverns

Every weekend in October, Natural Bridge Caverns hosts its first fall bat festival. The event includes bat educational demonstrations, a hay maze, a bat-themed scavenger hunt, live music, photo opportunities and a free “AMAZEn’ Ranch Round-Up” maze ticket for those who come in a family-friendly costume.

Fall Mass at St. Francis by the Lake

St. Francis by the Lake Church is hosting its second annual Fall Mass for families and their pets. Festivities include a petting zoo, vendors, live music, food trucks and pet activities.

Haunted Path of Night Creatures

The Empress will feature a haunted house maze, Halloween shopping, outdoor shows and food.
