1.20 meter long snake vomits two smaller snakes – one of them was still alive

When wildlife officials in Georgia came across a pair of seemingly lifeless snakes that had been spat out by another, larger snake, they were already surprised by what they found. But things took an even stranger turn when one of the spat-out snakes suddenly woke up and slithered away.

Wildlife technicians from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) encountered the unusual scene in November 2023 while examining federally protected Eastern Indigo Snakes (Drymarchon couperi) in southern Georgia, according to a DNR Facebook post written on August 29th.
