Gala took the lead after just six minutes with a simply breathtaking goal from Yunus Akgün. The former Leicester loanee hit a half-volley past Fraser Forster after a free-kick was passed to him on the edge of the box.

Spurs equalized 13 minutes later thanks to their young striker Will Lankshear, who chose a great time to score his first goal for the club. Archie Gray played a lovely ball to Brennan Johnson, who side-footed it across the penalty area for the 19-year-old to finish.

After half an hour, the Turkish champions thought they had regained the lead, but Victor Osimhen was offside when he fired the ball into the net. However, the Nigerian striker scored a minute later and finished well after Spurs lost possession in midfield.

The on-loan Napoli player came into action again six minutes before half-time, stylishly firing home a great cross from Dries Mertens that the Spurs defense simply couldn’t deal with.

Olympiacos vs Rangers

Goalscorers: El Kaabi 56′

After a relatively even first half, Olympiacos took the lead 11 minutes after the break through Ayoub El Kaabi.

The Moroccan striker brought the ball into the box and managed to turn and fire a volley past Jack Butland.
